Oil painting on panel of a hare in the snow. Part of a collaboration experiment for Oxfordshire Artweeks between fellow artist Patsy Jones and myself with the Pomegranate Poets of Wantage, where their poems inspired paintings and our paintings inspired their poems. This image was my interpretation of Dorothy Burrows’ haiku poem: Snow falls on downland; hare sits on crystalline earth; shivering beauty.
